The Story Behind Memento Vitae
Our founder, for his own reasons which we must respect, wants to remain anonymous.
The story behind Memento Vitae began with a deeply personal moment.
At a turning point in my life, I found myself needing guidance, a decision to make, a path to choose.
I knew exactly who I should have turned to for advice.
But that person, my father, was no longer there.
It wasn’t about reminiscence — looking at photos or hearing his voice again.
I wanted to understand how he thought, to hear his ideas, to find encouragement when I needed it most.
What he would have said to me.
How he saw the world, and how that view shaped the people he cared about.
That moment sparked the idea of Memento Vitae.
As an IT professional, I started thinking:
What if we could combine memory, personality, and AI technology?
Could we create a digital presence, not just a voice, but a living reflection of our own thoughts, values, and worldview, captured while we’re still here, to guide and support the people we care about, even long after the conversation ends?
Memento Vitae is not about recreating the past.
It’s about preserving who we are today, for those we love tomorrow.

Hi, my name is Tereza Moličnik
I’m a psychologist, psychotherapist, and educational specialist with 20 years of experience supporting people in their personal and relational journeys.
My work weaves together individual and group therapy, educational programs, and embodied approaches to healing, including guiding family constellations with deep respect for what emerges beyond words.
I’ve always been drawn to what’s hidden: the stories beneath our behavior, the loyalties passed on through generations, the gestures that say more than speech.
I love learning new things — always have. Whether it’s table tennis, piano, drums, acting, or tai chi, I find joy in being a beginner again. I guess I never quite grew out of that wide-eyed curiosity. Memento Vitae immediately felt like one of those new adventures: exciting, slightly mysterious, and full of possibility.
When I first heard about the project, I immediately thought how beautiful it would be to sit and talk with my great-grandfather, not just hear stories about him, but truly meet him.
When AI tools like ChatGPT and Grok became available, I felt a spark. What if technology could serve not as a distraction, but as a vessel? What if it could help us map who we are, not just what we say, but how we think, feel, and relate?
Memento Vitae offered a place for that vision, a meeting point between the emerging future and what has always mattered.
To me, this project is not about legacy. It’s about intimacy. A way to offer those we love a deeper sense of who we are — and maybe, in that process, understand ourselves a little better too.
My name is Miodrag (Miša) Krunić. I am one Serbia’s first Internet entrepreneurs. Back in ’90-ies I created some of first popular Serbian websites, followed by a number of online stores, some of them still active (like: malasrpskaprodavnica.com)
In 2005 I founded WEBCentric, a company behind Price2Spy, one of world’s first price monitoring services, which at it’s peak employed over 140 employees, and served 800 clients.
In 2024, now in my early 50-ies I exited WEBCentric. Being financially secure, wishing to use this energy in something brand new, where creativity and experience can make the difference, I was on the lookout for new projects.
Being a big psychology fan, I recognized Memento Vitae as a great opportunity to combine my two passions: psychology and IT.

My name is Vuk Nikolić. Although ‘vuk’ means ‘wolf’ in Serbian, and although I am over 2 meters tall, there is no reason for fear – I’m rather harmless 🙂
My first experience with software and hardware dates back to 80-ies when I dismantled my first ZX Spectrum. Ever since I have been working in so many roles, and so many positions – that people consider me ‘jack of all trades’, which I dislike – but just cannot help it.
One of more recent of these roles (and passions) involves AI – which I started investigating much before Chat GPT came around. I’m really curious about AI – not for the sake of spending time with it, but to see how intelligent can it get, and how will that impact our society.
