One picture is worth a thousand words
Although overused, this phrase is so true. Yes, words can bring back memories, but nothing compares to the feeling when one sees dear faces on a photo or on a video.
Memento Vitae seamlessly associates your photos and videos with the ongoing conversation – so your images and videos clips get shown naturally and intelligently, as a visual extension to your conversation.
The images will initially be shown as thumbnails – you are welcome to click these and get a large , gallery view.
In your profile settings, you can set how many such images do you want shown.
Simple enough, isn’t it?
How to add your images / videos to Memento Vitae?
Please check the attached video manual:
- Go to Media Gallery
- Pick an Album (or, create a new one)
- Within the Album, click ‘Add Media’
- On the following screen you should choose between 3 media types
- Locally stored image (to be uploaded from your phone or computer)
- External image (you should provide the image URL)
- Youtube video (you should provide the Youtube URL)
- In order for Memento Vitae to be able to associate your image with your conversations, you should fill in following 3 fields, with as many details as possible
- Name – this will be the image name, as shown in Media Gallery / Album
- Location – where the photo/ clip was taken
- Description – your description of events and persons shown in the image (or video)
Reliving memories
While adding photos or videos to the Media Gallery of your Memento Vitae AI profile, you will inevitably find yourself sifting through hundreds, sometimes thousands, of captured moments. At first glance, it may feel like a simple organizational task. But very quickly, it becomes something else entirely: a quiet journey through your own life.
Every image you come across carries more than pixels. It carries context, emotion, fragments of stories that were never fully written down. A photo is rarely just “a photo.” It is rather a doorway. And the description you add is the key that unlocks what lies behind it.
That is why it is worth taking your time and being as detailed, as expressive, and as personal as possible when describing each image.
Instead of writing a minimal caption like “Vacation 2023” or “Dinner with friends,” pause for a moment and ask yourself:
- Where exactly was this taken?
- Who was there, and what was your relationship with them at the time?
- What was happening just before and just after the photo?
- How did you feel in that moment?
- Why did you decide to capture it?
When you start answering these questions, something interesting happens. The image begins to expand. What was once a frozen second becomes a living memory again.
This approach brings a double benefit, both immediate and long-term.

While the AI itself is built from your words, these descriptions provide valuable context that can be naturally associated with your conversations.
